I knew my hair would be a mess if I slept on the curly fro it was yesterday so last night I played around with it and decided a ponytail was the way to go. I did two twist to my head and put it in a side ponytail. I added bobby pins and a head band today. 🙂
I straightened my hair last week and it was hitting the end of the road. I decided to try a twist out on my straight hair. It was dry and I just put coconut oil on it as I twisted it. I put rollers on the end of each twist and off to bed I went. I loved the results! It was fun to switch things up.
I am so lazy with my hair but surprisingly I did a twist out last week. It lasted three wonderful days! The top left picture is day one, the bottom left picture is day two, and the bigger on the right is day three (my favorite!). What’s your favorite natural hair style? I am definitely going to do twist outs more often!
It’s a dark picture but I have on a grey t-shit with a black blazer and my favorite dark skinny jeans. And of course my black boots. I’ll be glad when it warms up so I can break out the wedges. Ahhh, spring! This is a two day old twist out, I didn’t re-twist it so it’s a little crazy but I like it haha!
Like I’m mentioned before, I am not a hair person at all. I’m super lazy when it comes to my hair and my go to is a puff. But Pinterest inspired me (as usual) and I decided to twist my hair Saturday night. I saw on Pinterest that you could put rollers on the end for a different look so I decided I’d try it. If it came out horrible all I would have to do is wet it and put it in a puff. Surprisingly, it came out pretty good. What do you think? I’m open to suggestions! Maybe how to cut the time down?!
Day 56: My son looked adorable yesterday so I thought I’d share his outfit as well! 😀 The shirt and skinny jeans are from Old Navy. They have amazing prices and great quality! And don’t forget his awesome black converses (best hand-me-downs EVER). Enjoy!
On Valentine’s Day this year, I was reminded of how much pressure society puts on this one day. Both men and women complain about not having a valentine to make their day special. Why wait on someone else to make any day special? Valentine’s Day in my opinion should just be fun. If you have a spouse/significant other, enjoy each other but don’t let this one day be the only time you show how much you love each other. And no valentine, you ask? Go out with friends! There’s way too much fun to have to sit at home depressed over not getting flowers. Buy some yourself! 😉 What did I do? I had dinner & wine then went to see Side Effects with two of my friends and it was perfect!
